Mangroves nursery 

We believe in the importance of mangroves for the equilibrium of ecosystem. Too many mangroves have been cut in the history of Kilifi and too many continue to be damaged and cut.  The mangroves often are cut for the construction of houses or fences. These are all reasons that we do not like.
We have started to create a litlte nursery.  Here up one photos taken in jannuary 2014 and an other taken two month later, in march.

In any case, we are going to create a second, more larger, nursery and planting mangroves in the best points.





We also have written an official project, presented to the Ministery of Labour, Social Security and Services. The project addresses the issue in a serious way about the importance of reforestation of magrovie in Kilifi and a plan to do it.
